Who is she?

Ali is a versatile creator who has dreamed of screenwriting since she was 13 and wrote her first script. It didn’t sell, but she went on to write for the Emmy-winning series The Morning Show (Apple TV+), where she served as an on-set producer and was nominated for a WGA Award. She previously served as a producer & director for The Daily Show spinoff The Opposition w/ Jordan Klepper (Comedy Central), and starred in the largely improvised feature film THE END OF US, which premiered at SXSW.

Ali has written, directed, and starred in short films and web series for BuzzFeed Motion Pictures and Glamour Magazine/Condé Nast. Her video work has garnered nearly 1 billion views and has received press on NBC’s Today Show and in Time Magazine, Glamour, NYLON, Huffington Post, Jezebel, and more. Her first short EXES earned a Vimeo Staff Pick, widespread press, and played in festivals worldwide.

Beyond her TV career, Ali is a world traveler who’s lived on five continents, a journalist with bylines at Vulture and BuzzFeed, a Copywriter who’s worked with brands like Twitter and Budweiser, the author of the bestselling newsletter Little Things, and the creator of In Flow Writing Center, through which she hosts retreats around the world.

Born in New York City, she now lives in Los Angeles with her partner and their VERY cute rescue pitbull, do you want to see a picture?
