Hi there! I’m Ali. Welcome to my internet website.
I’m a writer and filmmaker who tells stories about the human experience that make people feel seen, and make me feel very vulnerable, why did I choose to do this?
I’ve written and produced television for Apple TV and Comedy Central, earning a WGA Award-nomination for my work on The Morning Show. I’m currently developing a slate of TV and film projects with various studios, including MGM and Park Pictures. On screen, I star in the indie feature The End of Us, which premiered at SXSW. My extensive short film and video work for BuzzFeed Video, Condé Nast, and more has sparked conversations worldwide and amassed over 1 billion views.
In the advertising world, I’ve led commercial and social campaigns for brands like Amazon, Budweiser, Hulu, and Twitter (RIP), and was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion.
No matter the medium, I bring bold storytelling, a clear creative vision, and honestly, a fun, collaborative vibe, to every set, writers’ room, or Zoom meeting.
I split my time between Los Angeles and New York City, although I’m equally likely to be in Costa Rica rewriting a draft.
